Please join Lower Bucks Hospital in welcoming Dr. Ronak Bhimani, Chief Medical Officer and Donna Casey, Chief Nursing Officer to Lower Bucks Hospital.

Dr. Ronak Bhimani has joined the team at Lower Bucks Hospital as the new Chief Medical Officer. He has joined our team from our sister hospital Suburban Hospital, bringing his expertise in Internal Medicine and administration to our hospital. Dr. Bhimani has been working as an academic hospitalist at Suburban for the past 2 years, along with having a heavy impact on our utilization management services.

Dr. Bhimani provides comprehensive care in the hospital, managing both common and complex illness of adults and the elderly. He has experience dealing with patients and families with end of life care, serving as a Medical Director in Hospice. He also was a core faculty member of the Internal Medicine residency program at Suburban, and enjoys teaching residents to continue to grow and thrive as independent physicians upon graduation.

Donna Casey has joined our team as the new Chief Nursing Officer.

Donna brings executive nursing leadership experience, most recently practicing as the Chief Nursing Officer at Jefferson Hospital and Washington Township Hospital in New Jersey. Additionally, she was the Vice President of Patient Care Services at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware. Donna earned her Doctorate in Executive Nursing Leadership from the University of Nevada and her Master’s Degree in clinical biomedical ethics and BSN from the University of Virginia. Donna is a nationally recognized expert in nursing leadership and clinical ethics through publications, presentations and her work with the American Nurses Association where she serves as chair of the Ethics and Human Rights advisory board.
