Pennsylvania Market for Prime Healthcare (Ontario, Calif.)- Becker's Hospital Review recognized Sonia Mehta, MD, MBA, Corporate Chief Medical Officer and Regional CEO of the Pennsylvania Market for Prime Healthcare (Ontario, Calif.), as one of the "105 Physician Leaders of Hospitals and Health Systems to Know," by Becker's Hospital Review.

Dr. Mehta has demonstrated outstanding leadership and clinical expertise throughout her career. Becker's list includes many of the top physicians of multiple hospitals throughout their careers in addition to community boards and national organizations. With more than 20 years in a variety of healthcare management roles, Dr. Mehta served as CEO and CMO of 177-bed Loretto Hospital in Chicago; president and CEO of the Illinois/Wisconsin Medical Group and executive medical director of immediate care centers, occupational health, wellness programs and chief of ambulatory services at 489-bed Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill. Furthermore, Dr. Mehta was one of 20 people to serve on the HHS transition team in Illinois and served on the Illinois State level committee for Medicaid transformation. Additionally, she led the Westside Heroin Task Force in Chicago.
