Lower Bucks Hospital Opens Community Health Center

Bristol, PA – Aug. 5, 2019 – Lower Bucks Hospital today announced the opening of its Community Health Center to meet a growing demand for additional urgent care services in the Lower Bucks County area.

The center, which will provide comprehensive services from toddles to seniors, will be staffed by experienced physicians and clinicians who will provide a full range of medical services.

‘’We will bring high-quality primary care services closer to the communities of Bristol, Croydon, Levittown, Fairless Hills, and surrounding areas,” Lower Bucks Hospital CEO Michael Motte said. “The new Community Health Center will meet the healthcare needs of the community close to home.”

The walk-in Health Center will save on time and cost considerably less than an emergency room (ER) visit. The Health Center will offer discounted pricing for patients without insurance.

The Health Center will be available for everyday illnesses and non-life-threatening injuries such as colds, flu, fever, asthma, allergies, minor skin lacerations, cuts, burns, urinary tract infections, sports injuries, fractures, sprains and strains.

Additional services to be offered include travel medicine, work and school physicals, DOT physicals, vaccinations, drug screens, well checks, OBGYN services, annual exams and more.

“What makes the Community Health Center unique is we’re inside the hospital offering patients easy access to x-rays, lab, and additional same day services that aren’t offered in a traditional urgent care setting,” Motte said.

The Lower Bucks Hospital Community Health Center is located at 501 Bath Road, 3rd Floor Founders Hall, Bristol, PA. For more information call 215.785.9677 or visit us online
