Lower Bucks Hospital for Continuing Medical Education
Lower Bucks Hospital is fully accredited for the training of allopathic
and osteopathic physicians by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical
Education (ACGME) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
In 2014, the Lower Bucks Hospital created an initiative and made a commitment
to satisfy the growing need for primary care physicians in the community.
This effort involved the creation of a family medicine residency program
with faculty having many years of post-graduate medical training experience.
Locally recognized for its quality of care, Lower Bucks Hospital has been
providing medical care to the surrounding community since 1954.
The educational training was expanded to include an internal medicine residency
program which was approved by the AOA in 2016. Those selected to train
in Lower Bucks Hospital’s residency programs will experience training
focused on direct patient care, sense of community and physician-patient
communication. The dedicated faculty is committed to providing the best
possible resident learning experience. Our mission is to graduate residents
equipped with a comprehensive knowledge base and skill set permitting
the resident to smoothly transition into medical practice.
As part of this educational process the institution will offer an ongoing
series of CME lectures which will be available to the residents, faculty,
and staff members.
Thank you for your interest in our program and we look forward to working
side-by-side with you.
