Garvey Choi, DO, Joins Lower Bucks Hospital
Bristol, PA (March 2,2020) – Garvey Choi, DO, a board-certified general
surgeon, has joined Lower Bucks Hospital’s BMC Medical Group. He
most recently served as Interim Chief of Surgery at St. Mary Medical Center
in Langhorne, PA.
Dr. Choi has more than 14 years of general surgery experience. He has advanced
training in robotic laparoscopic surgery and hernia repairs. He has been
affiliated with Lower Bucks Hospital since 2018.
“I am pleased to be able to bring my expertise on minimally invasive
surgery to the patients of Lower Bucks Hospital,” said Dr. Choi.
“I have been practicing in the Bucks County area close to 15 years,
and I look forward to becoming a member of the medical staff of a well-established
hospital as Lower Bucks.”
Dr. Choi received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine, completed an internal medicine residency at Frankford Hospital
and a general surgery residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown,
PA. His fellowship was in laparoendoscopic surgery at Danbury Hospital
in Connecticut. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic
Surgeons, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the Society of
American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
