Lower Bucks Hospital Opens Community Health Center
Bristol, PA – Aug. 5, 2019 – Lower Bucks Hospital today announced the opening of its Community Health
Center to meet a growing demand for additional urgent care services in
the Lower Bucks County area.
The center, which will provide comprehensive services from toddles to seniors,
will be staffed by experienced physicians and clinicians who will provide
a full range of medical services.
‘’We will bring high-quality primary care services closer to
the communities of Bristol, Croydon, Levittown, Fairless Hills, and surrounding
areas,” Lower Bucks Hospital CEO Michael Motte said. “The
new Community Health Center will meet the healthcare needs of the community
close to home.”
The walk-in Health Center will save on time and cost considerably less
than an emergency room (ER) visit. The Health Center will offer discounted
pricing for patients without insurance.
The Health Center will be available for everyday illnesses and non-life-threatening
injuries such as colds, flu, fever, asthma, allergies, minor skin lacerations,
cuts, burns, urinary tract infections, sports injuries, fractures, sprains
Additional services to be offered include travel medicine, work and school
physicals, DOT physicals, vaccinations, drug screens, well checks, OBGYN
services, annual exams and more.
“What makes the Community Health Center unique is we’re inside
the hospital offering patients easy access to x-rays, lab, and additional
same day services that aren’t offered in a traditional urgent care
setting,” Motte said.
