The Lower Bucks Hospital Residency Programs participate in the Electronic
Residency Application Service (ERAS). Complete applications require a
medical school transcript, Comlex and/or USMLE transcript and three letters
of recommendation. The application deadline is November 30.
Residents will be selected through the National Resident Matching Program
(NRMP). Applicants will meet the following minimum criteria:
· U.S. citizen or permanent resident
· Graduate of an AOA Accredited Osteopathic Medical School
· Interview Required
Transfer and Waiver
In accordance with the AOA Basic Standards for residency Training: If the
trainee transfers into another institution's training program of the
same specialty, the receiving Program Director has the authority to determine
which, if any, satisfactorily completed rotations from previous AOA- approved
program(s) will be accepted. Additionally, the transfer shall be in accordance
with the respective specialty college's basic standards and approval.
Each OPTI shall ensure that transfer credit and waiver policies and procedures
are applied in accordance with AOA polices.
