BRISTOL, PA -- June 28, 2019 -- Lower Bucks Hospital announced today the appointment of an experienced health care administrator as its new chief executive officer.

Michael J. Motte brings more than 23 years of acute care hospital management experience to his new position. Most recently, he served for eight years as CEO of St. Alexius Hospital, a 337-bed historic hospital in St. Louis, MO, where he also served as president of the Lutheran School of Nursing, affiliated with St. Alexius Hospital.

Prior to St. Alexius, Michael was the CEO at Capital Medical Center in Olympia, WA and system CFO of Mary Black Health System in Spartanburg, SC.

Over the span of his career, Michael served on multiple boards and committees, including the Hands on Children’s Museum, West Olympia Business Association, Missouri Hospital Association, Washington State Hospital Association, United Way, and more.

Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California and his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
